Introduction:

The Amarnath Yatra is not just a trek; it’s a test of faith, endurance, and devotion. Located in the Himalayas at an altitude of over 3,800 meters, the natural ice Shiva lingam forms every year, drawing thousands of devotees.

When to Go:

  • Official Yatra window: June to August

  • Registration begins in April (Falcon Fly can assist)

Routes:

  • Pahalgam route: Scenic and traditional, 36 km

  • Baltal route: Steeper but shorter, 14 km

  • Helicopter option: From Baltal or Pahalgam

Packing Checklist:

  • Thermal wear, raincoat, trekking shoes

  • Personal ID, Yatra Permit, Medical Certificate

  • Dry fruits, glucose, basic meds
